| Here are some pictures of 17 year old Weedon and his mousie. The yarn is Quinnehticut Woolen Co. heavy weight. The first is an action shot, the second resting after mousie exhaustion. Jo in Boston | |||

| Liz: The happily dazed Russian Blue with the variegated (acrylic/wool mystery yarn) mouse is Cassie. Mark (the kitties' daddy) got to the grey mouse (Cascade 220 wool) before letting Spot, the gold tom, at it. Spot later claimed both mice for his own (as can be seen from his guarding position) and was a very happy kitty indeed. | |||

| Debbi: I just got a new kitten on Sunday. I've named her Lacey. Of course, I had to swipe one of the mice I knit for my friend in CO's cats to give to her. She loves it and here is a photo to prove it. :) | |||

| rachel: my jezzebelle could have cared less during the knitting, but as soon as the lid came off the catnip tub, she was all over me, and then all over her purple mouse | |||

| Tami: This is my brother's cat 'Isabelle' with her mouse. My mom requested a catnip-less mouse, so the enthusiasm just isn't there. Hopefully she will catch on! We tried to serve it up for dinner to get her interest. | |||

| Ann: The knitting was fast (and fun). Getting a decent pic was harder since Phoebe's favorite activity is sitting on the mouse and that makes a lousy shot. The yarn is some old and very rough weaving yarn the better to stand up to her hind leg kicks and dog tug-o-war. | |||

| Rose: Mice are made out of Galway worsted in oatmeal, leftover from my own version of a fuzzy felted bucket-o-chic (think "Superfly"). Maggie has one that is stuffed with Cosmic Catnip and Sam's is stuffed with my own salvaged from "the North Beach Fangsters" (the 10 outdoor kitties on my block [we love our cats here]... Sam and Maggie are indoor wannabes). Tip: when growing your own catnip, surround plants with "Scaredy Cat" plants (don't remember latin name). Last year I had NO catnip crop of any kind thanks to the crazed fangsters hanging outside my front beds!!!! | |||

| Cherilyn: Here is my catnip mouse knitted from your pattern. He's flat because he's going to be sent to Istanbul Turkey for our friends' cat Ozzie. I'll send sewing and stuffing directions along. Just no catnip for the drug squad <vbg>. | |||

Diana: I knit it
with a scrap of variegated cotton left over from socks. Attached is a
picture of Oreo and Graymalkin in a lick fight over the poor mousie! |

Spun. Cats make good felting agents for those of us without a washer
& dryer.
