Sizes: 40 (45, 50)" chest, 24" long (jacket is meant to be oversized -- at least 5" larger than your bust measurement)

Note: this jacket can easily be made longer, simply by adding length before you mark the beginning of the armhole. You will, of course, need more yarn, depending on how much length you add.

Yarn: 900 (1000, 1100) yards worsted weight yarn
Gauge: 16 stitches/20 rows over 4" stockinette stitch on 5.0mm (U.S. size 8) needles

The model was knitted in Spirit Trail Fiberworks handpainted tussah silk. The pattern will work with any yarn that knits up to gauge loosely to achieve a soft drape.

Difficulty: Relatively Easy -- you need to be able to knit, purl, decrease stitches, and do a three-needle bind-off. Instructions for knitting an i-cord for the button loop are included.
